Ambient Temperature

With the weather changing, I thought I might take a moment to explain ambient temperature. When you read reviews of computers, many people state their "ambient" temperature. But, what does that mean? It is actually a fancy way of saying room temperature. However, when working with computers many people list it in Celsius and not Fahrenheit. So what is considered good room temperature for computers? Anywhere between 25-27 degrees Celsius is fine. Colder then that is ok if you are running a very hot rig. Hotter, however, is not so good. You want to keep your parts cool, and your ambient room temperature can make a big difference in cooling your system. So remember, try and keep it cool.
